Job Description
Company Overview:
El Guapo is a leading producer of cocktail bitters, syrups and mixers and is known for its commitment to quality ingredient sourcing and sustainability. With a focus on providing exceptional products to the beverage industry, El Guapo is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee a variety of projects related to design and printing, materials sourcing, and the development of new products and product lines. This role requires a blend of creativity and organization, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets
- Label Design & Printing: Coordinate the design, production, and quality assurance of product labels and packaging, working closely with designers and printers.
- Materials Sourcing: Identify and source high-quality materials for product packaging, maintaining relationships with vendors and ensuring cost-effective procurement.
- Product Development Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to conceptualize and develop new products and product lines, from brainstorming sessions to market launch.
- Creative Marketing Projects: Oversee creative marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and consistency across all platforms.
- Budgeting: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing updates, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication among team members.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet company standards for quality and brand integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in project management, preferably in the CPG, beverage, or food industries.
- Strong understanding of label design, printing processes, packaging, and materials sourcing.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management for projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly and can work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools – we use a combination of Trello, Monday, Dropbox and Google.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
- Driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

- Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to write by hand and use the keyboard to perform general functions
- Ability to communicate by speech and hearing continuously
- Visual acuity (close, distant, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus and view accurate color perception) needed for detail work, and computer use
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Working Days & Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM

- Salary commiserate with experience
