M.S. Rau is looking for a Visual Merchandiser who will be responsible for creating and executing visually compelling displays that reflect our brand’s high standards and luxury identity. In addition, this position will involve designing and arranging displays, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and driving sales through strategic visual presentation.

• Display Design: Conceptualize and implement visually stunning displays that align with brand aesthetics. Develop and execute in-store installations that captivate and engage customers.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual elements are consistent with the brand’s identity, including layout, overall presentation, point of origin, provenance, and color story. Maintain high standards of visual merchandising by ensuring the gallery looks pristine at all times, always holding all teams accountable for their part.
• Sales Performance: Develop visual strategies physically and digitally that enhance product visibility and drive sales. Monitor and analyze sales data to adjust displays and strategies as needed.
• Collaborate: Work closely with management, operations, marketing, and inventory teams to ensure cohesive and effective visual representation. Provide guidance and training to staff on gallery standards and techniques.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on current visual merchandising trends and luxury market developments. Incorporate innovative ideas and best practices to keep displays fresh and appealing.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate with the inventory team to manage the inventory life cycle process.
• Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain display areas to ensure they remain pristine and aligned with brand standards. Assist in creating and following all plans and processes for object movement.
• Administration: Utilize administrative tools, programs, and applications to follow plans and processes to maintain lines of communication surrounding irreplaceable one-of-a-kind inventory.

Other skills you will bring to M.S. Rau:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an art related field (Visual Merchandising, Design, Marketing, or related field is preferred).
• 3+ years Visual Merchandising experience preferably for a luxury brand
• Excellent design and creative skills with an eye for detail
• Strong understanding of luxury brand aesthetics and trends preferred
• Strong visual merchandising skills, preferably from a management position
• Ability to observe the minutia and evaluate the smallest details
• Intermediate level Adobe Suite
• Intermediate level 3D modeling preferred but nor required

What We Offer:

Compensation and Hours

This is a full-time hourly position with a very competitive compensation range based on abilities and experience plus the potential to earn quarterly and annual bonuses. This position works Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:15 pm. There may be a need for occasional evening and Saturday work.
