Job Description
Job Title: Temporary Warehouse Mover
Job Type: Temporary / Contract
Pay: [$15+/hour, depending on experience]
Consign Consign is currently seeking for motivated movers and unpackers.
This is a temporary position that may lead to permanent part time position. Job duties include moving boxes, equipment, and pallets safely using manual and powered tools (e.g., dollies, pallet jacks), pack, unpack, and organize warehouse items, loading and unload trucks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, follow safety protocols and team instructions, perform inventory checks and labeling when needed.
The ideal candidate is motivated, punctual, efficient in their time management, a self-starter, able to handle multiple tasks at the same time, works well with others, and a problem solver.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in heat.
The ability to repeatedly lift and carry heavy boxes and furniture
Effective communication skills when interacting with clients and fellow Movers
Organizational capabilities
The ability to solve problems on the spot
Basic knowledge of furniture assembly and disassembly
