Who we are: RentCheck is transforming the rental industry by making property inspections seamless, transparent, and efficient. Our platform helps property managers and tenants conduct inspections with ease, reducing disputes and improving trust. As we scale, we’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend background to help shape the future of our product.

The Role: As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll work across the entire platform, with a strong emphasis on frontend development using React and React Native. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to build user-friendly, high-performance web and mobile applications. While frontend expertise is key, you should also be comfortable working with our Node.js backend and deploying on AWS/GCP.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and enhance web and mobile applications using **React and React Native.
• Contribute to full stack development, including backend services in Node.js.
• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance applications.
• Improve UI/UX by collaborating with designers and product managers.
• Ensure a seamless developer experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Work on mobile development, optimizing performance across iOS and Android.
• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong frontend focus.
• Expert-level knowledge of React, React Native, and TypeScript.
• Full stack experience with Node.js, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Experience with mobile development, particularly in React Native (bonus for native iOS/Android experience).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and deployment best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a remote/hybrid environment

Nice-to-Have Skills: 

• Experience with native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin).
• Strong UI/UX sensibility and ability to work closely with designers.
