Responsibilities:
- Itinerary Writing: Assist in creating detailed and customized travel itineraries for clients, including flights, accommodations, activities, and transportation.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather information about their travel preferences and requirements.
- Research: Conduct thorough research on destinations, attractions, and travel options to provide clients with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Booking Management: Assist in booking flights, hotels, tours, and other travel-related services.
- Documentation: Prepare and organize travel documents, including visas, travel insurance, and itineraries.
- Office Support: Perform general office duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining client records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with travel advisors and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any travel-related issues or concerns that may arise before or during the trip.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma with experience in travel and tourism, or a college degree with genuine interest in travel and tourism.
- Experience: Previous experience in a travel agency or related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in planning and documentation.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Research Skills: Proficient in conducting online research and gathering relevant information.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with online travel booking (air, hotel, etc.) and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
