About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated IT Help Desk Intern to support our IT department in providing technical assistance to professional staff. This role offers hands-on experience in troubleshooting, deploying hardware and software, and contributing to various IT projects. The intern will work closely with the IT Support Technician and Vice President of Information Systems, gaining valuable exposure to real-world IT support operations.
What you will do:
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
- Troubleshoot Office 365 applications, desktop operating systems, and other business software.
- Deploy and configure computer hardware, peripherals, and software for employees.
- Support special IT projects, such as system upgrades, security enhancements, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with IT staff to implement preventative solutions to reduce recurring issues.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of IT assets and ensuring proper documentation.
What you bring:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or a desire to break into the field of IT!
- Basic knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, Office products, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong communication skills.
