CONVENTION SALES
The primary focus of this internship is to support the Convention Sales department by working on special projects and assisting with business development initiatives. A key responsibility will be communicating with assigned lists of accounts to uncover future business opportunities. The intern will also provide support to the Vice President of Business Development and Senior Vice President of Convention Sales. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in client communication, business development, and contributing to the success of New Orleans as a premier convention destination.

The primary role of this internship is to assist the social media team in content creation and reporting. The role would mostly focus on leisure channels, but there would be opportunities for crossover with corporate content. The ideal candidate would have some experience either working in or studying social media and/or digital marketing.
- Assist with live coverage (especially leisure)
- Work with existing templates in Canva to create our graphics-based posts (weekend picks, nightlife picks, staff anniversaries, birthdays, etc.)
- Drafting copy for leisure posts
- Helping update SimpleView with social media mentions for members
- Reaching out to brands for images and sourcing UGC
