Job Title: Seasonal Front-of-House Team Member – Order Taker & Beverage Service

Location: New Orleans, LA

Pay Rate: $11/hour + Participation in Tip Pool

Job Description:

We’re seeking a friendly and organized team member to help take orders, serve beverages, stock consumables, and assist with running prep between the back and front of the house. For the right candidate, this seasonal role could grow into something more permanent!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and take orders with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Handle beverage orders, including preparation and service.
  • Stock and organize consumables (e.g., napkins, cups, utensils) to ensure supplies are readily available.
  • Run prep items between the back and front of the house as needed.
  • Memorize and effectively communicate the menu, order system, and POS processes.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable appearance and ensure the front-of-house area is tidy.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, even in high-pressure or challenging situations.
  • Understand common food allergies (e.g., gluten, dairy, nuts) and dietary preferences and recommend appropriate crepe options based on customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Must remain calm under pressure and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly attitude and ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Nice handwriting for signage or order notes.
  • Ability to memorize menu items, order systems, and beverage service procedures.
  • Knowledge of food allergies and dietary needs, with a willingness to learn and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Clean and professional presentation.
  • Availability to work full-time or part-time, including weekends.
