Job Description
Job Summary:
The User & Event Support Provider (USP) belongs to the Support department and assists TPN.health with user and event support. USPs are responsible for helping coordinate (under the supervision of the Support Supervisor) and execute TPN.health continuing education events. This involves assisting event presenters with their technological needs and acting as moderators during event sessions. While TPN.health event duties are the USPs’ priority, user support needs will be fulfilled when capacity is needed such as responding to online chats, tickets, and emails.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Providing professional tech support during virtual events, to ensure presenter and attendee satisfaction.
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward users/presenters at all times.
- Communicating with users/presenters through various channels-- via email, online chat, phone call, or other available communication channels.
- Providing information on event logistics.
- Completing pre-event requirements in a timely manner (evaluations, certificates, etc.)
- Assisting users with difficulties in registering for Continuing Education (CE) online events, obtaining follow-up evaluations, and receiving their CE certificates.
- Actively listening to users/presenters and identifying their needs.
- Assessing member eligibility and processing payments, applications, and requests.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Providing feedback on the efficiency of the event-related process.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in webinar conferencing (Zoom Meetings/Webinars).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well and adapt in a high paced, changing environment
- Proficient with Google Suite or related software.
- Able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Education and Experience:
- Some customer service experience is preferred.
- Some event experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with computer technology and human services preferred.
- Comfortable with verbally communicating to behavioral health professionals.
Nice to Have:
- Ability to learn new technological solutions quickly.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
- Knowledge of the Google Suite and Workplace.
- Experience with a user support software: Intercom, Zendesk, Etc.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
