Job Description

Summary

This position provides administrative support for activities in the Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and in other Freeman School units as assigned by the Director of Freeman Employee Engagement. Assist in the administrative support of the Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation including maintaining and updating Center databases, managing bookkeeping and records, taking minutes, and ensuring excellence in other operational and administrative matters; typing and distributing Center communications; answering and directing Center telephone calls including responding to requests for information; production of Center marketing materials; maintaining calendars, assist with event planning, training and supervision of student workers. Assist in coordinating and supporting other Freeman School units, Faculty and programs including but not limited to preparing expense reports, travel and meeting arrangements, and other day to day administrative needs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative manner.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient keyboarding and computer skills with knowledge of software applications applicable to the responsibilities of the position including website maintenance, word processing, database management and presentation programs such as PowerPoint.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in the performance of all duties.

Required Education and/or Experience

• A High School Diploma together with three years of relevant work experience.

Compensation Information

This position is classified as "non-exempt, hourly" and is assigned to pay grade 23.
