About the Role

We are hiring experienced accountants to help establish and grow our organization.

Our office is led by a CPA with over 10 years of consulting experience. We seek candidates with a growth mindset who are eager to help build and lead our accounting department.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of accounting experience
• Restaurant industry experience (required)
• Passion for the hospitality sector

Responsibilities include:

• Complete clean-up projects for new clients
• Financial report; including preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss and statement of cash flows
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for multi-unit bar & restaurant groups
• Perform independent month and period-end close functions including closing entries, accrual reconciliations, fixed asset reconciliation, payroll reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
• Ability to analyze information in GL and find anomalies, run data analysis to look for inappropriate balances; run variance analysis
• Calculate and process monthly sales tax reporting
• Make inquiries to managers and/or vendors for missing reports and support documentation

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• Accounting experience 5-10 years
• CPA strongly preferred
• Quickbooks Desktop & Online
• Restaurant 365 preferred
• Able to pick up and learn new software platforms quickly
