Job Summary

Job Description

  • Plans and coordinates the monitoring and reporting process for the Bringing Respiratory Health Equity for Asthmatics Through Healthier Environments (BREATHE) program.
  • Develops and implements standard operating procedures for the BREATHE program.
  • Writes, negotiates and monitors program contracts for adherence to deliverables
  • Assists with the budget planning and management of grant funds.
  • Reviews and prepares project reports with appropriate recommendations.
  • Collaborates with program partners, including but not limited to grassroots organizations, medical institutions, universities, Medicaid and MCOs, along with various groups in state government.
  • Develops reporting on training metrics for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyzes data to track training and technical assistance needs.
  • Maintains and modifies training documentation to ensure accuracy of information included in all training presentations.
  • Conducts or coordinates training for program staff and partners; presents information to community partners and to relevant agencies.
  • Administers BREATHE case management system.
  • Facilitates resolution to all system errors related to the BREATHE case management system.
  • Leads process improvement and any future system modernization projects.
  • Prepares and reviews reports outlining statistical analysis and trends in asthma.
  • Researches federal and state policies, procedures, and quality assurance methods for asthma programs.
  • Facilitates the formulating of policies and quality assurance methods.
  • Assesses and responds to needs related to resources, information gaps and barriers to service.
  • Prioritizes assistance to underserved communities and/or demographic groups; and leads program evaluation efforts;
  • Plans and undertakes health education efforts for selected projects; assists in preparing and delivering presentations.
  • Prepares articles for publication.
  • Attends seminars, workshops, in-service training, and other continuing education programs.
  • Other tasks as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree plus 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in administrative services, public health, social services, or health services.
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience with data analysis, statistics, or analytical reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Great attention to detail and follow up.
  • Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities.
  • Proficient in the use of Zoom, Teams, and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel..
     


DESIRED:

  • Advanced degree.
  • Minimum 4 years professional experience in administrative services, public health, social services, or health services.
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience with data analysis, statistics, or analytical reporting.
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience with training coordination or conducting training presentations.
  • Relevant industry certifications.
