Raintree Children & Family Services is a non-profit social services agency that provides support and assistance to the children and families in the Greater New Orleans area. We are dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve and creating a brighter future for the community.
Role Description
The FSC Caseworker is a full-time on-site role. The FSC Caseworker will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to infants and toddlers enrolled in the Louisiana Early Steps program. The primary duties consist of assessing needs, generating contacting notes, and coordinating care to help clients achieve service plan goals. The Caseworker will also be responsible for monitoring client progress, conducting home visits, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 35-45 cases and help clients meet individualized service plans
- Previous experience in case management or social work preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and services is helpful
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
Pay
$17.75- $19.50 hourly, paid twice monthly
Full-time: 40 hours weekly, Mon- Fri. 9am-5pm
