This position works in Behavioral Health Community Services at Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority (JPHSA) in Elmwood in the Greater New Orleans area. · Competitive Salary: $3,904.00 - $7,025.00 monthly per year (depending on education and experience)

Responsibilities

· Serves as Licensed Addiction Counselor and subject matter expert

· Provides programmatic oversight and technical assistance, including treatment planning, discharge planning, budget planning, and clinical program structure

· Reviews completed assessments against standardized assessment tools to ensure individuals receive appropriate services based on level of care determination

· Ensures contractors develop complete and appropriate level of care recommendations and treatment plans

· Provides monitoring, initiates correction plans, collaborates with administrators and others to resolve issues

Qualifications & Skills

· Licensure as a Licensed Addiction Counselor by the Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority (ADRA)

· Experience with development and monitoring of level of care recommendations and treatment plans

· Experience with grants or contract monitoring and program management

· Time management with organizational skills required to set priorities and manage workload

· Ability to work in a culturally competent way and consistently treat all with dignity and respect
