Job Description

LSU Health Science Center – School of Public Health seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented person to join our school as a Grants Specialist. In this role, this person will provide comprehensive support to our faculty/principal investigators and co-investigators in preparing their research projects and submitting grant applications. This person will play a critical role in facilitating the success of research projects and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.

This position may be eligible for up to two days of remote work after initial training is completed. 


Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance or related field with three years of professional level and/or relevant work experience.

 

Preferred Experience:
Master’s Degree in Public Health or Biostatistics, Certified Research Administrator, and experience and knowledge of federal and non-federal research sponsors as well as experience with electronic research grants administration systems.
