Job Description
Company Overview:
El Guapo is a leading producer of bitters, syrups and mixers for coffee and cocktails. We are known for our commitment to quality ingredient sourcing, sustainability and customer service. With a focus on providing exceptional products to the beverage industry, El Guapo is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team in the Louisiana market. Though this position is based in New Orleans, the territory does encompass the entire State of Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve Sales Targets:
- Drive sales growth to and through our Louisiana distributor, aiming to surpass our annual sales target in 2025.
- Emphasize expanding on-premise accounts within our Louisiana distributor's network.
2. Account Management:
- Build and maintain a strong network of accounts, fostering relationships with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with our Louisiana distributor's sales team to identify opportunities and challenges in the market.
3. Promotional Activities:
- Organize and execute promotions to increase brand awareness.
- Collaborate with complimentary brands to supplement owned promotions with co-promotions that enhance El Guapo's visibility and sales.
4. Sales Planning:
- Create a comprehensive sales plan outlining strategies and tactics to achieve sales goals.
- Regularly review and adjust the sales plan based on market feedback and performance.
5. Sales Team Collaboration:
- Attend sales meetings with the distributor's internal sales team to align strategies, share insights, and address challenges with the goal of leading meetings in market.
- Plan and participate in ride-alongs with our Louisiana distributor's internal sales representatives to provide hands-on support.
6. Reporting and Communication:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales report, providing key performance indicators and insights.
- Communicate regularly with El Guapo through a weekly update and brief huddle, as well as monthly update meeting, sharing progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales, preferably in the beverage or hospitality industry.
· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
· Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Knowledge of the on-premise accounts landscape is a plus.
