General Description
The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts's Academic Program, the Academic Studio, is an innovative teaching and learning environment dedicated to the intellectual growth of young artists. The Academic Studio’s Integrated Humanities program develops in young artist-intellectuals a deep understanding of human history and expressive culture. Our curriculum equips students with the skills necessary to imagine, create, and articulate their own place in the world. Interdisciplinary humanities courses are team-taught through project-based and inquiry-based methods. The successful candidate will teach history- and English-based courses. This is not a creative writing teaching position.
