The incumbent is a member of the Custom Applications team responsible for programming and support of in-house developed and vendor-provided software. Working closely with other team members, the employee will work to develop new software solutions, apply software upgrades, implement modifications and enhancements, support legacy applications, develop interfaces to third party systems, and assist end users. As part of the team supporting software that is critical to Enterprise operations, such as security access systems, the incumbent must work to resolve issues quickly and effectively. As a senior level analyst, the incumbent is responsible for mentoring and advising less experienced analysts. This position is eligible for remote work in accordance with CM-73 - Remote Work Policy.

 

Primary responsibilities and duties of this position include:

  • Custom application programming including design, development, testing, documentation and user support
  • Database design, documentation, and maintenance. Upgrade code to support newer database platforms.
  • Research new technology, programming, and security solutions. Mentor less experienced team members.
  • Provide technical and end-user support for legacy and vendor-provided applications. Enhancements and maintenance of existing applications. Work with vendors to facilitate upgrades and software updates. Develop and maintain documentation

 

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution

 

 Required Experience

  • Five years of professional-level experience with web development, relational databases, and object-oriented programming
