Seeking a part-time, versatile freelancer to assist with a variety of creative and administrative tasks that support marketing, product development, and sales for the business. Duties can be fulfilled by a combination of remote and in-person work.

Job responsibilities

• Graphic design, primarily for marketing materials
• Manipulation of artwork in Photoshop to develop repeat patterns and fine art prints (scanning, color correction, silhouetting, pattern production, color manipulation, etc.)
• Responsible for customer service and customer communication 
• Order fulfillment in Shopify, processing other orders via Quickbooks 
• Communicate with vendors to fulfill orders 
• Maintain Shopify website - creating new product listings, etc.
• Social media management
• Photographing artwork as needed
• Create digital mockups (for example, wallpaper installation photos) using bought templates

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, art or design related
• Proficiency in Adobe software - Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign

Experience

• At least 1 year of work experience preferred, especially design, art, or marketing related

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualities

• Excellent communication, written and verbal
• Graphic design and general eye for design
• Attention to detail 
• Strong aesthetic sensibility
• Self-motivated
• Dependable and conscientious
• Interest in art and design
• Knowledge of interior design industry (not required, but a big bonus)
• Basic photography

Compensation

Minimum $15/hr. Negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
