Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: New Orleans, LA (On-site)
Duration: 06 months
Job Description:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, accounting, finance, or similar.
• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or accountant with a financial background.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in business tools such as Microsoft Office products.
• Proficient in letter writing, note-taking, and analysis of laws.
• Experience with spreadsheet software like Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present reports and issues to team members and stakeholders.
• Data entry proficiency and fast, accurate skills that can assist in timely input to support systems.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to collect and analyze data related to financial systems and customer support.
• Help with financial data entry and assisting customers in accessing online portals, other tasks we assign.
• Ability to articulate issues and remedies to team members and stakeholders.
• Customer service skills and ability to support taxpayers and other front-end business staff.
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting for complex issues.
• Data entry proficiency for financial recordkeeping and financial record management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations that drive business decisions.
• Works independently to satisfy prioritized tasks and duties
• Self-starter who can learn and operate unfamiliar applications and tools as needed to perform duties.
