Job Description
MISSION
To provide engineering expertise in the design, development, and optimization of electrical, instrumentation and control systems for the vegetable oils processing facility, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in vegetable oils processing equipment, automation and electrical systems.
- Languages: English, Spanish (preferred).
- Skills & Competencies: Proficient in Rockwell Automation, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, standard project management tools, database management software, MS Office. Proven vegetable oils processing experience. Technical understanding of engineering blueprints and designs. Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards. Knowledge of chemical plant process equipment including reactors, heat exchangers, centrifuges, piping, pumps and pumping systems, boilers, cooling systems, residual water treatment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop electrical, instrumentation and control systems for the facility.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, controls and systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers and teams to integrate electrical systems with other facility processes.
- Develop and implement maintenance and troubleshooting strategies for electrical and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Implement energy-saving measures and sustainable practices in electrical designs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams.
- Stay updated with the latest electrical and control engineering technologies and practices relevant to the industry.
