Job Summary:

At VooDoo Harley-Davidson, we are seeking PT and FT sales associates.  The Retail Salesperson will assist customers with purchasing Harley-Davidson merchandise.  

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greets and interacts with customers
• Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to the merchandise
• Demonstrates and explains merchandise, select and suggest options suitable for the customer’s needs
• Answers customers’ questions about the merchandise
• Assists customers with purchase decisions
• Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations; places special orders
• Collects payment using the store point of sale system
• Processes returns and exchanges
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimal Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Excellent active listening skills
• Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold
• Ability to anticipate customers’ needs
• Ability to recommend merchandise to customers
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Good math skills
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience highly preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
