Job Description

Job Purpose: We are looking for a friendly, highly motivated, organized, task-oriented, tech savvy, individual to help us open and manage our new Bywater Aparthotel.

Our goal is to provide the highest standard of care, while ultimately ensuring each guest leaves with a great memory! 


Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide that critical first impression to our guests and have a natural passion for delivering exceptional service including thorough pre-check-in inspections in every space.

- Maintain good customer relations by staying informed of all events and functions happening in and around the Greater New Orleans area in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on telephone.

- Guest communications via 3rd party booking platforms, E-mails, Text, etc. with customers including rental inquiries, property issues during and after stay and local tourism ideas.

- Collect/record requirements of all guests for reservations while resolving guest issues & concerns in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

- Utilize major booking channels to maintain large-scale presence, bookings, and property listings.

- Maintenance/Vendor Scheduling, Ordering, and Invoice/Time Approval.

- Preventative Maintenance Inspections and follow through.

- Coordinate weekday, evening, weekend emergency maintenance issues, as needed.

- Maintain, manage, and replenish unit supplies, delivery, and inventory as needed.

- Chargeback Management (Ruined Items, Extra Cleaning and Guest Damages).

- Occasional need to perform light housekeeping and maintenance tasks. 


Needs to be proficient in OR willing to quickly learn:

- Property Management Software (Streamline).

- Third Party booking sites; AirBnB, VRBO, Bookings.com owner dashboards etc.

- Microsoft Excel and Outlook.


Work Schedule:

- This position is a full-time position.

- Must be able to respond to after hours' emergency calls, as needed.

- Weekend on-call shifts including some in-person presence.


Work Location:

Bywater.



Work Remotely:

- Hybrid.

- Traveling to the property is frequent and requires your own reliable transportation.


License/Certification:

Driver's License.



Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hotels or vacation homes preferred.

- Deadline and detail-oriented.

- Great Communication skills.

- Strong Customer Service skills.

- Ability to multi-task.
