Associate Portfolio Manager
About the Position:
Wealthview Capital is seeking a portfolio associate to join its team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals. The associate portfolio manager will assist in the day-to-day management of client portfolios including portfolio construction, implementation, investing of new funds, periodic rebalancing, sourcing new investments, conducting due diligence and monitoring performance. The associate portfolio manager will work closely with the firm’s wealth advisory team to analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support, evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, and ensure accurate performance reporting. They will study stock market activity, execute trades, and monitor and analyze trade activity on behalf of the firm’s clients. This position is non-remote and based in our New Orleans, LA office, salaried with bonus potential and offers significant income advancement and career development opportunity as well as the ability to make a significant impact in the direction of the firm.

Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Related field, master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3-years’ direct industry experience
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Attention to detail and ability to remain calm and organized
- Self-starter attitude; enjoys taking ownership of projects
- Passion to learn and grow
- Must be able to work in an autonomous and entrepreneur environment
- Ability to foster teamwork and communicate effectively
- CFP, CFA, CIMA or related certification preferred
- Series 65 helpful
- Exceptional understanding of the full range of investment expertise in wealth management
