Responsibilities:

• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce high-quality products that meet company, certification, and regulatory requirements
• Provide workflow direction for all seafood processors while communicating performance expectations in collaboration with the production supervisor
• Translate both verbal and written documents between English and Vietnamese languages
• Coach and develop team members on productivity, quality, equipment operations, and safety procedures in collaboration with the production supervisor
• Directly perform a variety of day-to-day seafood processing procedures on production lines
• Inspect products throughout processing to identify defects and drive achievement of established quality guidelines
• Promote an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement
• Assist in training team members
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience working in a production environment
• Experience working in a food processing environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of seafood processing plant operations
• Fluently bilingual in English & Vietnamese
• Ability to exhibit teamwork and self-management practices
• Experience with scheduling work and leading/coordinating employee tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as required
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds
