King Cole Construction is looking for a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager or Estimator to add to its team. We are a rapidly growing General Contractor located the Metairie area. King Cole Construction specializes in commercial and residential renovations, remodels, repairs and roofing. We have a wonderful reputation and a very solid list of clients. We rely on our very loyal employees and work with only a select few licensed and insured subcontractors to ensure our jobs, big or small, are completed timely and correctly. We strive to provide our clients with an unparalleled level of service while maintaining the highest quality standards, construction practices and techniques to ensure an enjoyable experience and complete customer satisfaction.

Applicant Requirements:

  • A four-year degree in construction/engineering or a related area of study is preferred
  • Project Management/Management experience in construction is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must.
  • Excellent time management, organization and oral/written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent computer skills (proficiency in Excel and Word is a necessity).
  • On the job training will also be provided for various Construction Management software
  • Ability to multi-task and interact with clients, employees and management in a professional manner
  • Applicant must be able to coordinate and manage various jobs
  • A good positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow with the company is a must.
  • On the job training is provided

Job duties will include the following:

· Manage all aspects of the construction project from planning to the coordination of schedules, inspections during various construction phases, monitoring permits, and daily oversight of subcontractors and employees.

· Develop project schedules, plan materials, and purchase orders, ensuring work is within the project scope.

· Assist with obtaining sub-contractor estimates and bids, performing project buyouts, and managing subcontractor’ progress against plan.

  • BILINGUAL IS PREFERRED

Compensation to commensurate with experience and willingness to learn.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
