Job Summary
• Continually promote the University's mission, vision, and accomplishments.
• Accept and be attentive to the health and welfare of student-athletes as a primary responsibility.
• Assist and support Head Basketball Coach with all areas of the men's basketball program.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Director of Athletics and / or Head Basketball Coach.
• Maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of UNO, Southland Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of three years of basketball coaching experience.
• Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA compliance policies and procedures.
• Proven ability to develop, establish and sustain relationships with student-athletes, coaches, administration and various constituents.
• Excellent administrative, organizational and proven ability to recruit prospective student-athletes.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and travel as needed.
Desired Qualifications
• Master's degree.
• At least three years of NCAA Men's Basketball coaching experience.
