Rare Space Hospitality, Hendrix Group seeks a talented individual to join their team. The Host, Property Manager will join the team managing Rare Space’s portfolio of vacation rentals and small hotels in the New Orleans area. 

Responsibilities: 

The Host, Property Manager is the main point of contact for guests and tenants; and is responsible for the overall operations and success of the business relationship. 

• Respond to Guest questions including local recommendations, referrals, and emergency issues. 
• Supervise vacation rental turnovers to ensure cleanliness and that all amenities are stocked. 
• Set up new rentals with appropriate furnishings and amenities.
• Handle damage reports 
• Manage vendors to complete routine maintenance and emergency repairs
• Accomplish financial goals with an eye for revenue 
• Owner reporting and invoicing 

Qualifications and Skills: 

The qualified candidate will be an organized self-starter with:

• Previous experience managing a portfolio of vacation rental properties preferred
• A passion and dedication to a job well done
• Ability to answer guest questions and coordinate emergency maintenance on evenings, nights and weekends 
• Passion for New Orleans and experience in  front-line hospitality or customer service 
• Digital-first mentality, able to work remote/mobile 
• Two years experience in hospitality or associate’s degree in hospitality field preferred 
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand and lift 30 lbs on occasion
