Job Description

The Gulf Coast Safety Council (GCSC) is dedicated to the goal of providing state-of-the-art, innovative training and support processes to your workforce. Through our experience and expertise, we enhance the quality of awareness and safety, which is essential to all workers in any environment. Everyone should go home from work, the same way they arrived!

GCSC is currently looking for instructors in the St. Rose, Louisiana area. As in instructor for GCSC you will be educating the future of the industrial workforce and ensuring that they have a solid base in terms of safety, knowledge, and awareness when it comes to working the industrial and/or construction fields.

As an instructor you will educate students on topics such as:

- Lock Out Tag Out

- CPR/First Aid/AED

- NFPA 70E

- Supervisor Training

- Fall protection

Workload: 1 to 3 classes a week plus various remote training every month.

Job Shift: Day

Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum Qualifications

- High School education or equivalent

- 2 years petrochemical, industrial, and/or construction work related experience

Preferred

- Safety health and environmental experience in the petrochemical, industrial, and/or construction industry
