Job Description

TIME FRAME: SHORT TERM, SEASONAL POSITION

April 27th, 2023- May 8th, 2023


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cashless Zone Manager is responsible for POS management, cash exchange procedures for Cash Exchange booths within a designated zone.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Verify required tables and chairs are at each booth.
  • Verify power is working daily.
  • Issue POS/iPads systems at each booth.
  • Ensure all POS system hardware and internet connections are working properly.
  • Maintain Irregular Transaction Log.
  • Ensure ReadyCard inventory is dispersed to all assigned booths.
  • Ensure Cash Exchange Zone Monitors are covering the entire zone.
  • Ensure Cash Exchange Zone Monitors are using the Error/Incident Form
  • Count and Record ReadyCards before and after each shift.
  • Designate positions within your zone for scheduled staff before each shift begins.
  • Track all booth staff time sheets and submit daily to the Cashless Coordinator.
  • Manage Cash Exchange sales staff and ensure customer service standards are being followed.
  • Ensure Cash Exchange sales staff maintain a clean and professional booth.
  • Manage breaks for Cash Exchange sales staff.
  • Prepare cash for pick-ups.
  • Close out all POS systems daily and ensure the Cashless Coordinator has final reports and Irregular Transaction Log, as well as sign in sheet in hand before end of day.
  • Ensure Concessions Booth POS systems are boxed and stored at the end of day.
  • Perform any other work-related duties assigned to them by Concessions Director.
  • Complete any evaluation or feedback forms requested of them.
  • Issuing POS to Food & Beverage Vendors day before Festival begins.



REQUIREMENTS:

  • Using the Absentee Request Form, it is the responsibility of each employee and their supervisor to accurately report their absenteeism to the HR Office.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
  • Must attend and complete any required training.
  • Any document, computer program, design or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival belongs to the Jazz Festival and must be given to the Festival through your supervisor or department head at the end of each production year, or upon request.
  • Must complete all required Feedback Forms and Final reports.



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Production experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and high stress workplace.
  • Computer literate in Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Basic accounting procedures.
  • Some heavy lifting.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
