Job Description
We are looking for dishwashers to work in our commissary kitchen keeping our sheet pans, tools, and equipment clean. Being a team player is a must. Joel Catering is an off site catering company and as such our employees can work non-traditional hours and in non-traditional spaces. We have a commissary kitchen that is used to prepare all food for our events, food is then transported to different event spaces around New Orleans. We are looking for folks who want to work at the commissary kitchen with the option of going to off site events. We are looking for folks who want to work at the commissary kitchen and at events. We offer health insurance, 401k, and advancement from within.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure dishes are clean, sanitized and available as needed.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of dishwashing machine.
• Wash pot/pans and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Keep kitchen clean by sweeping floors and emptying trash.
• Clean and sanitize throughout shift.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
