Job Description

Salary:

  • $54,119-$75,360

Work Duration:

  • Nine (9) months
  • 183 Days
  • 7.5 hours per day
  • Spring Semester Only

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential, including but not limited to:

  • Setting rigorous yet appropriate learning outcomes
  • Establishing supportive relationships with students
  • Engaging students in meaningful, developmentally appropriate, real world discussions and learning activities
  • Developing authentic and aligned assessments to measure student growth and inform instructional decisions

Certification / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science
  • Possess a Louisiana teaching certificate: Type A, B, or C - or - Level 1, 2 or 3
  • Must hold Secondary Science certification
