Intralox, L.L.C. is currently seeking a Mechanical Technician for the Solution Development Team. About 25% to 50% of the time you will be responsible for setting up and testing conveyors at our Harahan office and 50% to 75% will be travelling to customer locations to support commissioning and acceptance testing of our conveyance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Support, develop and promote conveyance solutions through application specific testing.
• Achieve client requirements through theory, application, and use of Intralox product line.
• Generate reports reflecting test results and methodology.
• Maintenance of database of historical documentation of testing results.
• Manage customer acceptance testing (50% to 75% travel is required)
• Testing and set-up for customer demonstrations.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and organized.
• Hands on technical skills; tools, machinery, fasteners, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude, with attention to detail.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Goal oriented team player.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Travel required up to 50-75% of the time and weekend work when necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with team members and with internal and external customers, including management, engineers, and plant personnel.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and interest - ability to research, understand, and communicate concepts associated with a given technology.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and resources.
