Job Description

This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical duties to the Property Management Division and other special projects within the office as assigned by the Broker in accordance with the Louisiana Real Estate Commissions Rules and Regulations.  All within the utmost of confidentiality.


 Position Overview: 

This is a part-time Assistant Property Manager position. This person will be responsible for assisting the Property Management Team in the day-to-day operations with its managed portfolio. The Assistant Manager must also contain a thorough understanding of the competitive market and high standards for customer service. Candidates should be very organized and strong in marketing, tenant retention, and tenant relations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to


  • Visit properties within Louisiana on a regular scheduled basis as well as any special needs or emergency situation.
  • Answer incoming calls and handle accordingly, whether they are tenant issues, service requests, accounting issues etc. 
  • Accept service requests from tenants and route to maintenance or appropriate vendors for prompt processing. 
  • Correctly complete all lease applications, assist with application verification, and notify prospective tenants of results. 
  • Maintain accurate tenant records in property management software and tenant files. 
  • Deposit all monies in the bank and property management software prior to bank closing each day. 
  • Properly code and enter all invoices into property management software for payment. 
  • Update monthly reports and submit to Property owners. 
  • Organize and file all applicable reports, leases and paperwork. 
  • Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends. 
  • Contribute ideas to the property manager for marketing the property and improving tenant satisfaction. 
  • As a member of management, maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and interaction with co-workers, tenants and vendors at all times.
