TMG Consulting is seeking current graduate school students in economics, business, or planning programs for a paid consulting/planning internship anticipated to start in January 2023 for the duration of the spring academic semester. The position will run through the end of the year with the potential for extension. This intern will be tasked at 20 hours/week, with additional hours optional on an as-needed basis, dependent on company project loads (up to 35 hours).

TMG Consulting (www.tmgconsulting.net) is a New Orleans-based urban planning firm specializing in transportation, public infrastructure, economics, and engineering. With over 30 years of experience, TMG’s portfolio includes a wealth of clients, both public- and private-sector, in a multitude of industries and in many locales.

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented economics, business or planning graduate student:

• with a demonstrated interest in transportation and transit

• with excellent research and writing skills

• with excellent quantitative and analytical skills

• with excellent communication skills

• with proficiency in Word and Excel

• comfortable reaching out to third parties for information via phone calls and emails

• capable of juggling several disparate tasks at the same time

• must have a reliable Internet connection

• international students are welcome to apply, but must be legally permitted to intern in the USA
