Job Description
Salary:
$54,119 - $75,360
Work Duration:
Nine (9) months, 183 Days, 7.5 hours per day
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential, including but not limited to:
· Setting rigorous yet appropriate learning outcomes
· Establishing supportive relationships with students
· Engaging students in meaningful, developmentally appropriate, real world discussions and learning activities
· Developing authentic and aligned assessments to measure student growth and inform instructional decisions
· Collaboratively work with team members to fulfill the mission, vision and beliefs of both the school and the district.
Certification Requirements:
· Bachelor of Arts or Science
· Possess a Louisiana teaching certificate: Type A, B, or C - o r- Level 1, 2 or 3
· Certified in Secondary Science, Mathematics, Technology/Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field

About St. Charles Parish Public Schools
St. Charles Parish Public Schools has been at the forefront of education and a leader among public schools in Louisiana since the mid 1970’s. Led by Superintendent Dr. Kenneth W. Oertling and eight board members, the school system is home to more than 9,800 students and 1,700 employees.
