Job Description
Parcels and Post is a shipping and mailing business specializing in carefully and expertly packing artwork, antiques and delicate objects for shipping all around the world. We offer a fun and casual environment in our lively Magazine Street store that is 100% customer-focused.
We are currently looking for a professional individual who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized to join our small band of shippers. You will be responsible for our guest experience by being friendly, helpful, and attentive. When not assisting customers you'll be organizing mail and incoming packages for our private box holders, assessing packing needs, building boxes for various items, and safely packaging merchandise. We work with local artists, galleries, auction houses, and businesses up and down Magazine St. and encounter many wonderful neighborhood characters. Customer service experience is most preferred.
This is a permanent part-time position. We offer 20+ hours per week (30+ hours during December) between 9-6 plus every third Saturday from 10-2. Hours are flexible and the pay is above average...so if this sounds like a job for you, please email your resume to parcelpostandparty@gmail.com.
