Job Summary:
Handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices and financial data for a real estate development and sound stage studio. Works with a variety of companies and departments delivering financial reports. A successful Staff Accountant will ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions run accurately and efficiently for all companies.
Responsibilities:
- Records bills, invoices, credit cards and financial data in Quick Books.
- Ensures financial data is entered correctly, accurately and timely.
- Processes accounts payables and receivables, expenditures, and reconciliations.
· Prepares and delivers bank deposits and loan payments to banks.
- Reconciles and reports differences or issues found in any financial and bank records.
· Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
· File and scan all documents and records on Dropbox.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable
Certified /or/ minimum 2 years QuickBooks Pro
Knowledge of accounting principles related to classifying, recording and summarizing data
High attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and independence with financial and client information
Excellent organization skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Builder Trend knowledge a plus
