Job Description

This is an outside sales position that will service the Greater New Orleans area and become available mid-October. This position has accounts in both the on-premise and off-premise sectors, which includes bars, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, and other retail stores.


Responsibilities:
-Actively complete sales volume of account list and achieve company objectives by opening new accounts and driving new business.
-Regularly meet accounts to continue building current relationships with product placement, sell various brands and promote upcoming/new ones.
-Maintain a positive rapport with owners/buyers and professional communication at all times.
-Organization of assigned accounts and all their associated information.
-Integrate supplier market work into route when required and increase sales on certain brands.
-Anticipate customer needs while staying up to date on industry trends.

Qualifications:
-Able to complete the above responsibilities with a positive outlook and professional demeanor.
-Strong verbal communication and presentation skills!
-Wine and spirits knowledge -- at least a very solid foundation, with eagerness to learn more.
-A self-motivated, aggressive to sell, and confident attitude!
-Time management and ability to multitask.
-Capable of working independently as well as within a team.

Requirements:
-Must be at least 21 years of age.
-Must travel and have a personal, reliable vehicle.
-Must utilize cell phone for business communications.
-Ability to obtain and hold a solicitor's license.
-Customer service experience required -- sales experience a plus!
-Again, fundamental wine and spirits knowledge is a must.
-Competency in computer operations and Microsoft applications.

Structure:
-Base pay with commission for sales.
-Cash incentives programs implemented throughout the year.
