Louisiana Cat is currently seeking an Advertising & Events Coordinator to join the Marketing team at the corporate office in Reserve, LA. This is a staff position that will assist in the company's creative marketing communications, including graphic design, trade shows, email campaigns, and social media content. Up to 25% travel and valid driver's license and good driving record is required. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the World's Top 75 brands on a local level.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing team and other business units to plan and develop creative content, style and layout for print and digital mediums: social media posts, videos, email marketing campaigns, website, employee/customer communications, etc.
  • Create graphics and collateral that identifies our product and conveys the company's message.
  • Stay up to date on social media and online marketing trends, best practices and methods; Make recommendations.
  • Manage participation in industry tradeshows and events including researching potential opportunities, pre-show promotion, show set-up and take-down, capturing sales leads and post-show event analysis.
  • Work with others in the Marketing & Sales departments to understand product and service benefits, develop campaign and promotional messaging for in-store signage, promotional flyers and newsletters.
  • Use marketing automation systems and design tools to assist with the creation and deployment of page layouts, content and graphics for digital campaigns.
  • Develop, implement and track compelling opt-in email marketing campaigns that enhance the dealership's coverage efforts and grow qualified leads.
  • Manage the dealership's website and social media channels, hosting relevant content and monitoring activity and performance.
  • Lead SEO, SEM, link building and paid digital advertising efforts to drive traffic to the dealership's website and other online assets, and use analysis tools to measure and improve results.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager as needed when Public Relations opportunities are available to promote products, services, events, etc.
  • Create regular reports to show marketing campaign awareness, effectiveness and financial performance as appropriate.
  • Assist other internal business units with internal communications as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related business study
  • REQUIRED: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • REQUIRED: Knowledge of social media and digital marketing best practices
  • REQUIRED: Strong computer skills including MS Office such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • HIGHLY PREFERRED: Knowledge of and previous experience with email marketing, marketing automation tools, website development/maintenance, html, and Google Analytics
  • PREFERRED: 1-3 years relevant work experience or related college internship
