Salary: $19,317

Responsibilities:

Provide support in student transportation services including but not limited to:

· Assists students and other passengers to provide safe loading and unloading of buses during transport and emergency situations

· Collaborate with bus operator on passenger management to assist with student control

· Enforces rules/regulations to maintain student safety and well being

· Monitors students with special needs to ensure safe transportation of all passengers

· Reports observations/incidents of concern to appropriate personnel for action

· Secures students and/or their equipment (restraints, wheel chair tie down, seat belts, etc.) to ensure safety of students 

 Certification / Requirements:

·· High school diploma or equivalent on the job training experience

· Ability to operate a wheelchair lift, wheelchair straps and safety vests within 30 days post hire

· Must complete first aid training successfully within 90 days after hire

· Experience working with students with multiple disabilities preferred

· Ability to maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
