What is Series Next Solutions? 

Series Next Solutions (SNS) is based in New Orleans, and we provide data-driven Fractional Finance and Accounting services to growing companies. We solve for a common frustration among leaders of growing businesses: Finance and Accounting responsibilities are burning up time and energy that could be directed towards expansion and customer outreach.  SNS liberates leadership teams to pursue their companies' core missions.  We achieve this vision by providing Executive-level expertise at a price point that fits in growing companies' budgets. 

What role would I play at SNS? 

This is a hybrid role: some accounting and bookkeeping, some finance, some administrative support, some data analysis. It's work that's considered back office, but at SNS it's client-facing.  You'll start by taking direction and supporting day-to-day duties executing client processes in payroll, bookkeeping, month-end close, etc. Concurrently, you'll learn new software platforms that perform key operational processes (accounting, payroll, scheduling, timekeeping, etc.), including researching new solutions on your own. There will also be an administrative component in helping us build our internal organization and processes.  Once you have established competency and efficiency in the “job at hand”, there are lots of opportunities for learning and growth for a self-starter – like apprenticing on the business intelligence team (i.e. working with data and building client facing KPI dashboards).
