Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Server that has some knowledge of food and wine to join our team! Nights and weekends are a must. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our guests’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be responsible, punctual and have a positive and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people, have fine dining experience, and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take and serve orders
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
Skills
- Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience, preferably in fine-dining
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties and POS, knowledge of MICROS a plus.
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy

Housed in a lovingly restored turn-of-the-century warehouse, Annunciation features exposed brick walls and classic New Orleans styling on the lower main floor dining room. Second floor event space has private Bar, and seating for 100 guests. Menu features include Oysters with Brie, Seafood Stuffed Eggplant, and Tuna with Creole Fried Rice.
