Job Description
Hospitality of New Orleans (a rapidly expanding vacation rental company in New Orleans) is seeking an Assistant Property Manager. The Assistant Property Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for current, future, and prospective guests to facilitate an exceptional guest experience primarily through phone communication and online messages. Additionally, the assistant will perform administrative and guest relation assignments to assist the General Property Managers.
Essential Duties and Tasks
- responsible for front desk operation
- facilitate the overall guest experience from booking through to checkout
- handle complex technical tasks including room changes, inventory moves, and folio adjustments as necessary
- handle guest questions and concerns as required by management
- ensure that each interaction exceeds the expectations of our owners and guests
- answer all guest inquiries- if unable to respond as an expert, identify the appropriate personnel to assist
- clarify needs and reacts accordingly
- recognize and initiate solutions to owner/guest concerns with a sense of urgency and to their satisfaction
- log all new transactions for guest complaints, including escalation to management if needed, and completed follow up
- continuously monitor the surroundings at work in order to identify any cleanliness, safety, security, or building upkeep issues
- assist General Manager with clerical assignments as needed
