Job Description

If you read the below description and feel this position excites you, but your experience does not add up 100%, we encourage you to still apply and tell us why! We look forward to learning what makes you passionate and purposeful.

Levelset is looking for an experienced event marketing manager to drive brand awareness, accelerate revenue acquisition, and boost advocacy by building and scaling our event marketing function.  As we expand our best-in-class construction payment offerings to additional market segments, it is critical that we develop brand presence and create positive interactions with our prospects through their existing communities, networks, and groups.  We believe a strong events function empowers our team to hit key business goals and deliver positive outcomes for the construction industry.

We need a savvy marketer - both strategic-minded and detail oriented - who knows event marketing cold and has a history of producing results.  This marketer is a highly proficient and passionate team player who is ready to put their stamp on our marketing world.

The ideal candidate will be a master of their trade who can - soup-to-nuts - enable Levelset to shine at trade shows, conferences, and roadshow events.  They will bring fresh ideas, a willingness to roll up their sleeves, and an immersive mindset, which collectively will be a rising tide for our entire team.

What You’ll Do

Develop an events playbook and to-do checklist to run smooth, well-coordinated events

Create and socialize a unified events calendar that will collate customer marketing, community, and acquisition activities

Work with stakeholders to establish an event strategy that will influence brand awareness and revenue acquisition

Work with the design and content teams to level up exhibitor set-up, staging, collateral, swag, etc.

Spearhead event promotion by running multi-channel campaigns and managing invite lists and signups

Manage arrangements with speakers and partner marketing teams or any external stakeholders

Work with marketing stakeholders to transform event experiences into lasting digital content to be distributed across site and digital channels

Take ownership of, and manage, the events budget and schedule

What You Bring

3+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in tech or SaaS, with a primary focus on event marketing or field marketing

Competency with event coordination, field marketing, email marketing, list management, and landing page design

Successfully organized multiple events, both wide audience and small audience

Proven track record of influencing pipeline and revenue through event coordination and working closely with upmarket sales teams

Levelset (previously known as zlien) is one of the South's fastest-growing tech companies, a flagship of the tech industry in Louisiana, and has been named by New Orleans CityBusiness as the "Best Place to Work" in 2018 for large companies. Backed by venture funding, we are growing revenue (and our headcount) 100% year by year.

We empower contractors to always get what they earn, and it’s our cause to kill liens, slow payment, and bad outcomes. Our software platform makes lien rights in the construction industry simple, so contractors and suppliers can complete projects on time and with the peace of mind that they are going to get paid.
