Are you an experienced TIG Welder? Laitram Machinery is currently seeking a TIG Welder. This individual will be primarily responsible for fitting and welding manufacturing equipment and parts from blueprints.

Responsibilities:

• Perform simple to highly complex welding/fitting assignments according to blue prints and layout specifications
• Read and following blueprints
• Operate welding equipment
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed
• Exhibit teamwork and self-management
• Follow the attendance policy of the Department
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and policies
• Work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as required

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED Equivalent, or Vocational School diploma
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in TIG welding
• Experience with gas tungsten arc welding equipment
• Experience reading blueprints and bill of materials
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately read tape measure
• Stable work history in the TIG welding field
• Candidate must take and pass welding test administered by the company
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 50 pounds
