It’s an exciting time to join DOCPACE, we're a young company with enormous potential. As a Backend / DevOps Engineer at DOCPACE, you'll work directly with our Product Team to produce scalable software solutions from conception to deployment.

DOCPACE's team is growing rapidly to serve our customer interest and we’re looking for an experienced Backend / DevOps Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate is comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages including AWS Back-end experience, development frameworks and third-party libraries.

Responsibilities 

Your main responsibilities will be to

• Work with development team and leadership team to ideate software solutions
• Design, build, test, and maintain the continuous integration and continuous delivery process
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software performance, capability and usability
• Manage the IT infrastructure, design client-side and server-side architecture
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Integrate and connect application elements (APIs, libraries, SKDs, etc)
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, ensure that all environments run smoothly
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Increase code quality, create reliable pipelines, shorten test cycles, prevent defects in production
• Create security and data protection settings and verify compliance
• Write technical documentation, incident response plans, protocol for onboarding engineers
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Backend & DevOps Engineer
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience developing desktop and mobile web applications
• Experience with React, including hooks, Redux, and component libraries (Material-UI & TailwindCSS)
• Backend development experience using Springboot/Java
• Familiarity with SQL database (e.g PostgreSQL), web servers (e.g. AWS) and UI/UX design.
• Great attention to detail, time management and analytical skills
• BS Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
