Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative is a full time role within the Guest Communications Department and plays a
critical role in business development. The primary objective of this position is to optimize top line revenue on a
daily basis by engaging our customers in a friendly, resourceful, and professional manner. You will be
responsible for guiding guests throughout their guest journey, starting with the inquiry process, answering their
questions about the rentals and understanding their needs, until the guest checks-out. Our Inside Sales
Representative will be a hospitable person who has the guest’s best interest in mind throughout the sales
journey.
This is an in-person role based in New Orleans.
Essential Functions
● Identify, pursue, and close new leads - all leads are warm. There is no cold calling.
● Manage a sales pipeline and ensure leads are being consistently followed up with
● Uphold Stay Heirloom’s commitment to a 5-star experience for every guest stay and interaction
● Answer phones and book reservations for customers based on availability, must be very comfortable on the
phone
● Respond swiftly and courteously to customer inquiries and leads
● Understand customer needs and requirements. Find creative ways to cross-sell or place guests at other
properties when their initial property is not available
● Strategically recommend rentals in need of revenue
● Collaborate with Analytics Dept. to relay booking trends, helping to optimize pricing
● Work collaboratively with marketing to learn the portfolio and property features
● Mentor Guest Communications reps and help assist them in identifying potential leads
● Work cross-departmentally to ensure that lead’s requests are met
● Work collaboratively with management to meet and exceed revenue goals. Achieve suggested quotas.
● Assist with customer support when needed
Requirements
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner
● Must be very comfortable on the phone
● Entrepreneurial, highly motivated, self-starter
● Experience with warm telephone prospecting
● Fast-learner, able to retain information on-the-go
● Tech savvy
● Appreciation for fast-paced environment, managing multiple sales processes in parallel
● Creativity, innovation, organization, strong initiative, presentation skills, and attention to detail
● Leadership mentality preferred
● Prior experience working in a high-volume inside sales environment preferred
● Knowledge of the hotel industry is a plus
Schedule & Compensation
This is a full time role with the following schedule:
● Sunday: 9am - 5pm CST
● Monday - Thursday : 3pm - 11pm CST

This position offers a competitive base salary as well as uncapped commission.
