Job Description
About the job
The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad technical skillset and extensive experience in this industry. As a result, the candidate should be able to design, develop and test the products to meet functionality requirements defined by the product management team. Moreover, the candidate should be able to work with other developers in determining product strategy.
Responsibilities
· Develop and designing relevant code on project needs
· Create test driven environment for relevant projects
· Collaborate with designers and analysts to implement enhancements or new applications
· Develop code to perform functionality outlined by product management
· Debug, test, and fix errors
· Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with various development and security standards
· Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet acceptance criteria
· Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams, and mentor more junior developers
· Manage multiple priorities and time effectively
· Write and update technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials
· Work closely with product management to understand system requirements
· Create and maintain architectural application documentation and standards
· Run automated deployments
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
· 4-6 years of industry experience
· Technical depth across multiple languages
· Strong work experience in Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS
· Experience in Bootstrap, Flask, and Django
· Experience developing and deploying applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
· Experience building websites using JS frameworks such as Angular and React
· Experience developing using a microservices framework
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Leadership experience
· Strong communications skills
