Job Description
MARKETING MANAGER - Corporate (New Orleans, LA)
The role of the Marketing Manager is to assist in leading and executing the overall Palmisano Marketing Strategy. This position reports to the Marketing Leader and regularly interacts with Project, Business Development, and Culture teams.
Primary Responsibilities
· Lead content strategy development and execution across social platforms, blog and e-newsletter
· Lead proposal creation process and content development
· Lead awards application process
· Lead sales material development
· Lead print and digital advertising efforts
· Lead website maintenance, updates, and SEO implementation
· Lead project progress and final photography coordination and execution
· Lead new market creative services
· Lead design & execution of branded apparel and merchandise
· Manage creative consultants
· Oversee jobsite signage and branding
· Oversee company merchandise online store
· Oversee creation of internal company newsletter
· Support internal communications as needed
Core Competencies
· Strong social media knowledge and ability to execute against a comprehensive content strategy.
· Ability to create highly creative and effective marketing materials for both print and digital
· Ambition to do things differently and challenge the status quo in construction marketing.
· Strong organization, problem-solving, multi-tasking and time management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with minimal oversight adhering to stated deadlines
- Ability to motivate work efforts of others and handle demanding situations
- Tech savvy, the ability to adapt to and learn new technology
· Embraces collaboration and team work
· Competitive spirit with a focus on winning who also likes to have fun
· Love of learning - Always asking "why" to find the root cause and not afraid to bring bold new ideas to the table
Desired Qualifications
· Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
· 6+ years of experience in Marketing or related field
· Construction industry experience preferred
· Proficient with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
· Wordpress experience
· Photography skills a plus
· Video editing experience a plus
